If you can manage to save some money every month while still running a tight ship, then by all means, we empower you to do so. We are here for the business owners who are tired of keeping their books, those looking to outsource and step away, and those who believe they can get much more done if the bookkeeping is handled for them.

How do you handle categorizing transactions and reporting?

We categorize transactions and reconcile accounts on a regular basis, ensuring that everything stays accurate. We provide your Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports by the tenth of the following month, and we also provide end-of-year reports so that you always have a pulse on your business finances.

Do you offer bi-weekly or custom reporting options?

Yes, we offer reporting options that are customizable to your company's unique needs. We will help you make strong financial decisions when you need to make them.

Do you offer cleanup for past transactions and years?

Yes, cleanup is crucial for many business owners, especially if they have never kept their books before or have been inconsistent. Even if you are years behind, we can go back and get your transactions categorized. Everyone needs to start sometime!

How do cleanup fees work?

Pricing depends on two factors: the scale of your business and the number of months or years we need to categorize so you can get your taxes filed and have a clear financial picture.

What additional services do you offer beyond bookkeeping?

What is the timeline for onboarding?

Upon signing up, we aim to have your Onboarding Call within one week. All onboarding items are typically completed during this call, and we can begin services immediately afterward.

Are you CPAs?

No, Money Buddy is exclusively a bookkeeping and business consulting provider.

How do you provide reports to my CPA during tax season?

During tax season, we will send the appropriate reports directly to your CPA on time, so you don't have to worry about a thing.

What accounting software do you use?

We use QuickBooks Online exclusively. If you currently have an alternate provider, we will request to transfer all of your existing data to a QuickBooks account.

Can you manage multiple companies in one QuickBooks Account?

If you have multiple companies that require bookkeeping, each company will need its own QuickBooks account.

How do you ensure data security and confidentiality?

We use a secure, SOC 2 certified software where all of your confidential information can be stored, and where we can share information that shouldn't be shared over email. A SOC 2 certification is the highest standard of security and privacy. It assures our clients that their data is in safe hands and that we are equipped to protect against potential threats.
